Amelia and James were sat across from each other when Amelia suddenly said “James should we tell the kids yet about their brother.” James was thinking about something when he heard Amelia ask and wasn’t sure “What Amelia? Tell the kids about their 8 year old brother” Amelia was very certain “Yes, James yes I don’t want the kids to kill us if they just happen to find out for themselves.” James thinking it was a bit weird just said “Okay we’ll tell them in a couple of days.”
A couple minutes later
Jaemi bursts through the door. “What you’ve been hiding mine and Amie’s brother, that you said died when he was born, for 8 years and were too scared to tell us?” Amelia suddenly turning towards the door and being very apologetic “Sorry I just didn’t want you to feel as if we had abandoned you. Sorry. And for god’s sake do not tell your sister as we will tell her when we are ready.” Jaemi being taken aback just said “Okay I won’t, you don’t have to worry about it if you don’t want her to know then I won’t tell her.” Amelia thinking that Jaemi won’t actually tell her sister said “Good.” James also thinking that Jaemi won’t actually tell her sister thought he’ll ask her “Do you want to know what he looks like?” Jaemi looking pleased that they had actually thought her lie was true “Yes please” Amelia not really sure “Is that a good idea?” James really thinking that Jaemi was looking pleased because he had asked if she wanted to see him “I think it is about time we told them and showed him to them.” Amelia not really sure “Ok then. Shall we show her to him or wait a couple days when we tell Amie?” James thinking Jaemi was actually really wanting to meet her brother “I reckon we should show him to Jaemi then when we tell Amie and when we show Amie, Jaemi can pretend to look surprised.” Amelia still not sure if it was a good idea “Oh alright then but you really must not tell Amie.” Jaemi thinking that if they showed her where her brother was she could show him to Amie “I honestly won’t tell Amie. I just really want to meet my brother.”
