If you're new to proboards...
If you are new to proboards, you may want to read this post to help you with coding your posts. Coding changes how your text or images come out when you post. This tutorial will guide you through the most simple and important codes.NOTE: In each of these codes, your text goes in between the brackets. For example:
[yourcodehere]Your text here[/yourcodehere]
Size: Example This code changes the size of your font. To do this you can either use this code:
[size=2][/size] or you can press the button above the reply/ post box with the small and big A. When you use this code, put the size that you wish your font to be after the = sign. The example above is in size 5.
Bold: Example This code makes your text bold. To do this, you can either use this code:
[b][/b]or you can press the button above the reply/post box that has a B on it.
Italics: Example This code makes your text come up in italics. To do this you can either use this code:
[i][/i] or you can press the button above the reply/post box that has an I on it.
Underline: Example This code makes your text underlined. To do this, you can either use this code:
[u][/u]or you can press the button above the reply/post box that has a u on it.
Align Left, centre or right:

This code makes you text align left, right or centre, much like on word. To left align, use this code:[left][/left]Right:
[right][/right]Centre:
[center][/center]or you can press the button above the reply/post box that has 5 lines on the left, centre or right on it.
Changing the font: Example This code changes the font that your text appears in. This includes all of the pre-loaded fonts on Microsoft Word. The default is Veranda.
Using Images:
This code allows images to be seen on your posts. To do this, use this code:
[img][/img]or you can press the button above the reply/post box that has a small picture in a frame on it. NOTE: When using this code, put the URL of the image you want to use between the brackets. If you are using an image found on Google Images, please make sure that it is in 'See Full Size Image' mode before coping the URL.
Hyperlinks: Example: www.inclin.proboards.com This code makes it so that any web page links you post can be clicked on and that people will be directed towards that page. To do this, use this code:
[url][/url]or you can press the button above the reply/post box that has a world on it.
There are many other codes that you can explore for yourselves using the buttons above the post/reply box named ‘Tags’.
